"Home care leaders looking to grow in 2025 need to focus on two things, I think, workforce stability and strategic compliance. Why? Because agencies that master these two things will totally outpace the competition. We're all painfully aware that the demand for for caregivers is higher than ever, but turnover remains a major challenge.
Agencies that invest in caregiver retention strategies, things like better pay models, career pathways, meaningful engagement, they will be the ones that attract and keep top talent, but don't underestimate the power of technology to streamline scheduling, improve communication, and reduce burnout.
When it comes to compliance, regulatory oversight is tightening from labor laws to safety requirements. We see it every day, more and more regulatory requirements happening. Smart agencies aren't just reacting to compliance updates, they're proactively using them as a growth strategy. So having a strong compliance framework in place, not only does that protect your business, but it builds trust with referral partners and clients, but also with your staff.
The home care industry is evolving very fast. If you're ready to position your agency for growth, now is the time to strengthen your workforce strategy and embrace compliance as a competitive advantage."
